Description
Create professional custom UV DTF transfers for adding colourful designs, names and business branding to smooth, hard surfaces.
UV DTF transfers have a glossy, slightly raised finish and arrive ready to apply. There is no heat press, cutting machine or weeding required, making them a convenient option for businesses, crafters and personalised product makers.
Upload one design or combine multiple designs, sizes and quantities using our online rolling gangsheet builder.
Pay Only for the Print Space You Use
Our UV DTF gangsheet builder uses a 30 cm wide rolling canvas rather than fixed sheet sizes.
The canvas automatically becomes longer as you add your artwork. Your price updates according to the amount of canvas used, with orders starting from £1.
This allows you to:
- Order one small transfer
- Add multiple copies of the same design
- Combine several different designs
- Mix different sizes on one canvas
- Arrange artwork to reduce unused space
- Pay only for the print area required
Please check the final canvas length and price inside the builder before adding the order to your basket.

Build Your UV DTF Gangsheet
Use our online gangsheet builder to create your order.
The builder allows you to:
- Upload transparent-background artwork.
- Choose the required size of each design.
- Add multiple copies.
- Upload several different designs.
- Arrange your artwork within the 30 cm wide canvas.
- Check the sizes, quantities and spacing.
- Add the completed canvas to your basket.
You do not need to add cutlines to UV DTF artwork.
Leave enough space between separate designs so each transfer can be cut apart easily after printing.
Artwork Requirements
For the best print quality, please upload:
- Transparent-background artwork
- High-resolution PNG files where possible
- Artwork at approximately 300 DPI
- Images prepared at the required print size
- Designs with clear, smooth edges
- Text that remains readable at the chosen size
- Artwork with all unwanted backgrounds removed
Do not add:
- Cutlines
- Contour lines
- Registration marks
- Coloured cutting guides
- White background boxes
- Unwanted shadows or borders
White elements within your design will be printed using white ink. However, the area surrounding the design must remain transparent.
Avoid extremely thin lines, very small text, faint details and tiny isolated elements, as these may not print or transfer reliably.
We print directly from the artwork submitted through the builder. Please check the spelling, dimensions, resolution, background and overall design before ordering.
No Cutlines Required
UV DTF transfers do not require contour cutlines.
Unlike our eco-solvent stickers, UV DTF designs are printed and transferred using the transparent shape of the uploaded artwork.
Upload each design with a transparent background and leave suitable spacing between the designs. The completed transfers can then be cut apart from the printed roll before application.
How to Apply UV DTF Transfers
For the best result:
- Make sure the surface is smooth, clean and completely dry.
- Remove dust, oil, grease and cleaning residue.
- Cut the required transfer away from the gangsheet.
- Rub firmly across the design before removing the backing.
- Slowly peel away the backing film.
- Position the transfer carefully above the surface.
- Lower the transfer onto the surface without trapping air.
- Press firmly across the complete design.
- Rub over the transfer using a squeegee or firm hand pressure.
- Slowly peel away the top carrier film.
- Press over the finished transfer again.
The adhesive is strong and the design may be difficult to reposition once it touches the surface. Take time to check the position before pressing it down.
Applying Transfers to Cups and Drinkware
UV DTF transfers can be applied to the exterior of suitable cups, tumblers, mugs and bottles.
For safe placement and longer-lasting results:
- Keep the design away from the drinking rim
- Do not apply to the inside of drinkware
- Do not apply to surfaces that touch food or drink
- Allow the adhesive time to bond before washing
- Wash gently by hand
- Do not soak
- Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh chemicals
- Avoid direct exposure to high heat
Dishwasher and microwave use are not recommended.
Care and Durability
UV DTF transfers provide a durable decorative finish when applied correctly to a suitable surface.
The finished lifespan will depend on:
- Surface preparation
- Surface material and coating
- Correct application
- Regular handling
- Cleaning products
- Exposure to moisture
- Rubbing or abrasion
- Indoor or outdoor conditions
For the longest-lasting result, apply the transfer to a clean indoor surface and follow the recommended care instructions.
Water resistance and outdoor lifespan can vary according to the surface and conditions, so complete waterproofing or permanent outdoor durability is not guaranteed.

Do I need to add cutlines?
No. Do not add cutlines, contour lines or cutting guides to UV DTF artwork.
Does my artwork need a transparent background?

Yes. You can combine different designs, sizes and quantities within the same rolling canvas.
Do I need a heat press?
No. UV DTF transfers are pressure applied and do not require a heat press.
